The bare patch beside our driveway was the first thing people saw, and it made the whole front yard look unfinished. The landscaping services I hired sent a clear message before each visit so I knew when the crew would be there, which helped because our gate can be tricky. At one point I watched them mark the edge of the bed with string before cutting it in, and that small step made the final shape look much cleaner than I expected. The yard feels more pulled together now without looking overdone.
